How many of you out there take a probiotic? I do most of the time. Here are benefits of probiotics... Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system. We usually think of bacteria as something that causes diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotics are often called "good" or "helpful" bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy. (Quoted by Google) Probiotics are live microorganisms that may be able to help prevent and treat some illnesses. Promoting a healthy digestive tract and a healthy immune system are their most widely studied benefits at this time. These are also commonly known as friendly, good, or healthy bacteria. Some food probiotics are: *Yogurt. One of the best probiotic foods is live-cultured yogurt, especially handmade. ... *Kefir. Similar to yogurt, this fermented dairy product is a unique combination of goat's milk and fermented kefir grains. ... *Sauerkraut. ... *Dark Chocolate. ... *Microalgae. ... *Miso Soup. ... *Pickles. ... *Tempeh and many more. -----Do you take a probiotic? I do most of the time. Helps my health issues out for sure. I know quite a few people that actually do. What probiotic do you take if you take one?----

@carebear29 I definitely wouldn't be able to handle liquid. Now maybe a probiotic in a capsule and just swallow it down.. but even then I would probably forget to take it.

I take a probiotic every day. I have trouble with yeast so I have to take high amounts of lactobacillus acidophilus daily.

@carebear29 Yes I rarely get yeast infections anymore. I had them chronically for months at a time and the stuff doctors gave me to take wouldn't get rid of it or it would come right back after stopping the stuff.

I get tired of eating Yogurt all the time but know it can be a Good probiotic and Good for you. I especially now am always prone to eating the Greek style ones.

I take Align probiotic on a regular basis. But if I have stomach issues (like the terrible gas I had yesterday), I will take Acidophilus. I think I took 6 over the course of the day yesterday. I also eat probiotic yogurt. And I still have stomach problems. But they would be a lot worse if I wasn't taking those probiotics.

I do take them. Most of the time in the yogurt drinks that I love so much. I am also a fan of kimchi, which is said to contain probiotic but not to be taken to much as some said might lead to gastric problem.
