The End Of The World

What events are you most afraid of happening in the future? I know that for a while I feared the Apocalyptic stage that some believe is almost upon us. I guess after Y2K and 2012 Mayan Calendar were fails, I stopped believing in the end of the world.

As there was a start there will be an end. I never believed world is going to end on Y2K or 2012. But I believe there wil be an end.. well, it might happen human species will be there.. if we can relocate us to another planet.

It is my belief that humanity is causing The End upon itself.
It will be horrible when it does happen because we will do it to ourself.

@stacysdeadright yes.. we are the reason for so much pollution. We are the reason for war and if there is any Nuclear war then we will be doomed!

If the nations fire some nuclear bombs that would be terrible. However fearful things are predicted by the Bible and we are told to rejoice as God will soon step in and clean the earth of badness and bring a millennium of peace, security and prosperity. What about you?

@stacysdeadright From my study of the Bible, in the very near future, I am convinced that something will happen to make the UN talk about or announce some plan for international peace and security in some form or another. Part of their plan will call for the eliminating of all religions which has caused so many of the problems we see. Shortly after will be fulfilled Luke 21:25-28 (New International Version)
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Just like when a woman is about to give birth there will be some suffering but oh the joy when the baby is born.

I know that most people are not Bible buffs but I can't say that i disagree. With everything that seems to be happening around us, I can't say that Revelations on the matter is invalid.
