I just saw someone got arrested on the cinema

I was watching Power Rangers on the theater when out of a sudden I saw some guards of the theater tried grabbing a teenage boy on his late teens out of the theater. Apparently he got caught filming the movie with his smart phone. Everything happened so fast and I think everyone got shocked. Most likely got sent to the cops because camcording on theaters is considered piracy. I think everyone got on a shock on that scene but everyone did finish the movie.

Oh dear, well he will not do that again. I wonder what the sentence of fine would be in your place for that?

I remember back in the 90's pirates uses camcorder but now it is easier for them because smart phones are smaller.

Oh duh . . . I can't believe people are still doing that! Well, I hope it didn't interrupt everyone's movie watching too much!

@CaptAlbertWhisker Really? Kids here must be desensitized to that - it's sad we've seen these scenarios on tv, movies or even in real life. Well, the good thing is maybe the kids in that theater will have learned what happens when you break the law, and they'll never do it!

Everything goes back to normal except from some children who are traumatized for life.

Oh good thing the movie pirate was caught. Does he not kow that filming the movie is a big no-no? The incident might be traumatic to others who witnessed.

They could have tried at least to not make a scene because I saw kids traumatized.

I have never understood recording a movie that way. I know it's for bootlegging or perhaps personal, but can't people wait for the DVD instead of a crummy recording?

apparently there are people who camcord movies in cinemas and mass produces them to pirated cd's to be sold on 3rd world countries or stream them on piracy streaming sites like putlocker.

Wow. I suppose I'm weird, but it would never occur to me to record a movie in a theatre. I'm glad you got to see the end of your movie!

I don't understand why there will be still someone who films in the movie. As if you don't want to spend money to buy the cinema tickets, you can wait for sometime and watch it from the internet. It is OK and the result is better. Filming it in the cinema don't mean a thing because the result is not good and nobody wants to watch it. It will even spoil a good movie.

I think they will stream the copy they product to the internet. There are people with no money who wanted to watch a movie asap even if the quality is bad.

Some people are just ignorant or never learn. Looks like he'll be regretting it his entire life.

I think he might be an amateur pirate that is why he got caught easily.

I can imagine how shocking it must have been to everybody to see that happen during a movie. I am sure he was just as shocked when he got caught.

There are kids on the theater so some of them end up crying because they find it traumatizing.
