Rain, Hitting My Bedroom Window Woke Me Up This Morning

We really need the rain and it’s been raining all morning. At least, it’s not storming. We had a bad storm a couple of days ago. One lightning strike had no thunder and it was so loud, it shook the house. It must have hit right by our house. It scared me half to death. Kaboom! That was all I heard.
I don’t like storms and I’m so sad about all the tornados and storms in some of the other states here lately. A lot of damage has been done and some deaths and injuries. I think one report said 14 tornados touched down in Texas this one day.
It’s cooler today because of the rain. A good day to take a nap.

yes rain is good to sleep by if it doesn't get bad like with that big lightening strike. or if you don't live in one of those hurricane states like i do. i never sleep good through rain here. i do if i am in a safe state.

Florida does have some bad storms. Hurricanes are very bad for a lot of reasons.
