I got paid!

Now don't get excited, it is not myLot money. I know some of you think we might get paid today. Maybe, maybe not.
I write for a friend's travel blog. I only write one article a week, which is fine, it's just enough! When she asked me if I wanted to write for her she said she would pay me the 5th of each month. The last few months it was sooner than that. I was happily surprised this morning to get a message from PayPal saying I have money.
I enjoy writing for the blog as it gives me a chance to share things that I've learned over the years of traveling with a pet. I write mostly about places or restaurants that I have personally visited. I also do a few product reviews when I feel the item is something great.
I love the fact that I can put as many photos as I like! Each article has to be at least 350 words and I usually hit 500-600 depending on the day.
So, now I'll ask the big question - do you think myLot will show the green dollar signs today?

I just received a rather large unexpected check in the mail yesterday, a refund on a deposit I had made years ago and had completely forgotten about! Let's just say it made me quite happy!

@AbbyGreenhill Because it was a deposit I made many, many years ago on an apartment I lived in. Apparently, new owners took over the property and they were auditing the financial records and realized that they owed many people refunds on deposits. I have no idea how they tracked down my current address, but I am happy to receive the money!

I think I would enjoy your articles. I do not get to travel nearly as much as I would like but I do like to hear about other places so that I'd know what attractions and restaurants to visit when I do go. I am glad MrLOT is working out for you!

@AbbyGreenhill I remember in Bubblews, when someone said he/she was paid, everybody rushed to ask when, how long it took and so on.

@sallypup They said to give it to her an hour before a trip. I took it a few years ago and it did nothing for me at all.

Ruby is not good in the car at all...she paces and pants. I am going to get Melatonin and see if that helps.

@AbbyGreenhill We tried both benadryl and melatonin with Leah. She got sleepy the minute she got out of the car. During the car ride?? Plenty of zip- lots of paw slaps to me the driver. Not at all good.

He is such a cute dog. I loved him. Writing as a guest blogger must be something you enjoy. Even I like to write to blog but I always get blanked out when I start. There are ideas running in mind but unable to put them out on a board. I must be lacking a guide and knowledge of blogging. I will work on it anyways. Keep writing and keep earning.

When I get an idea for an article I start writing it and save it....then 3-4 days prior to the day I post I pick one from the saved ones and refine it and save again. Then I publish on Wednesdays and start over again. I have three started and saved right now.

Writing for a blog and sharing your experiences without forgetting the fact that you are getting paid is marvelous. My friend has a blog too. And she mostly write about food and recipes stuffs. Aww Look at sweet Ruby. Such a nice looking dog
