Traveling For Adventure

Many of us here have been on a lot of Vacations. Sometimes when you have traveled, it may have been for work, Church duties, etc. But whatever they are, they have taken you to some exotic and fun adventures.
I am sure there are places you may have been many of us will never experience. Even those of us in the US have been places many here in the US have never been. We all have experiences and tales and overall for the most part can say we are glad we have been there.
Where is one of your Best travels and what did you like most about it? Mine would either be NYC or Chicago. Very diverse way of living and the culture is so different than here in the Seattle area. If I could afford it, one day I would Love to be able to go back to each city, and spend a week there to explore and experience the different foods, etc.

My best is also my worst. Which is travelling 11 hours from RI to MI. for a 3day trip for the 2011 thanksgiving football game.

I have not ever been up north, Past Kentucky. I loved Charleston, S.C. And Oatman, Az, best of all the places I have been in the south, USA.

One of my best travels was when I decided to go away after my divorce. At first I was planning on checking out spa retreats and I ended up booking a trip to Ireland on a whim. It had been a dream of mine to visit one day and figured I would never get to. The only thing I "scheduled" over there was visiting Blarney Castle, other than that, I drove around and stopped as I saw fit. It's such a beautiful country and I hope to visit again one day but at least I'm able to say I was able to see it once.
