We Need A Hate Outlet

Yep, that is what we need. I love my friend dearly, but have to say he is part of the problem with classes and race. I know he is not racist in a way, and definitely smart enough to say certain things to me only. Which is my point. I am by far no racist in most ways. I will be the first to admit certain things get under my skin, but usually try to leave it maybe some are that way, many are not, but you can say that about any race. My point is maybe people just need a b session. I think most have heard of that and if you have not the world has truly gone politically correct. It is where you get to say anything you want with in reason and hopefully a somewhat respectful way get your higher ups to listen to you. It actually has been quite effective in my experience if you use common sense. Bill Maher says Racism today is people who do not know they are racist. I think my friend fits the bill, but does have good points in some areas. Maybe if they could express them in a way to make a race more aware in a tactful way. It would do him good and make him less hateful in that area and also improve the races he talks about also.

Sometimes I wonder if, even if not knowing, we are all racists in some ways. I know that I am not and I try never to discriminate anyone, but sometimes I wonder if we really treat everybody the same way.

I do also, it is slippery . I have also always said that we are all racist. Hell my dogs are racist to their own. Animals are in general and that is what people forget. They all animals. Just to much of an ego to remember. We should show a better way one would think.

@crossbones27 I know, even animals are racist, I think it is part of our nature to look differently those who are different from ourselves.

@LadyDuck Indeed, but we understand better and can teach dogs and cats to get along. Yet living together is a mystery to us. Silly world putting it in a calm laid back way.

Interesting points. I live in the South East. I grew up around racism and I still see it to this day. I also grew up knowing that it was not just race that was frowned upon. Different classes also get their fair share of discrimination as well. When I am feeling as if I need to b about something, I normally pray. It's not spoken out loud and I always feel better afterwards.

@crossbones27 Much better than the alternative for me. I have been known to have a temper. Not a good idea to get into a row over anything at my age.

Yes class gets discriminated all the time also. That is good you can get your sanity in other forms. Whatever works is what I say.
