I realize this is something that many do not get. People 'assume' they earn by posting...not true. I do not want to reinvent the wheel so I won't.
But what I will do is share a link at the end of this post. A link that will take you to a post by JJ (@JolietJake) called - "If I had any hair I'd pull it out..."
His post is not about hair - it is a post that clearly describes how money is earned at myLot. Check out his post, read it all the way through. Once you do I think it will clear my falsehoods and misconceptions.
While JJ and I have some of the same followers, I'm sure I might hit a new audience to share his post with.

I think we can post and share this information until the cows come home. The ones who need this information won't read it....they will be too busy writing one discussion after the other, never pausing to read and respond to anything.

I see many people who have been members for a while posting inaccurate info about it - so it one or two read it , it will be helpful.

There was this member earlier that argued with me about earning money here in mylot. JJ and owlwings came to the rescue and straightened things out. Not sure if he has read their response though.
It's great that you are sharing Jj's post again and I hope that this might reach a lot of people, especially those who have a great misconception about earning in mylot.

@AbbyGreenhill I think that many here have yet to understand how we earn, but it is clearly stated in the Earnings Program FAQ
How do I earn money exactly? - It's simple... Just participate! Any time you start a discussion, respond to a discussion, or comment in a discussion, you are making a contribution that is eligible for earnings.

Actually, I have seen many 'regulars' say things like, "you earn by your comments" so it isn't just people such as you described.

I told that to one person in a private message and that person told me I was wrong LOL that I didn't know how it worked here. Anyway, anyone who posts more than two or three a day chances are I won't read them. I try to keep it at no more than two.

Yeah..every now and then such posts and reminders are needed for those looking to earn out here. For the rest of us who are looking at meaning full friendship and having a blast, we can only say earning what earning ohhhhhhhhhhhhh earnings...yeah they just happen.
