Are you always honest in your comments at myLot?

When you leave a comment on a post are you honest or do you just say what you think the writer wants to hear? Example: I think Ruby is adorable. If I say that in a post I am sure many would respond in kind. However, there are others who couldn't care less about a dog - do those people agree with my statement or be honest? In other words, do you give your true feelings or do you say what is expected? Sometimes it is better to avoid conflict by saying what is expected, just as it is in real life. But this isn't real life.....or is it? One thing most people know about me is that I tell it like it is. How honest are you? (Now be honest!) Photo from Pixabay

I have always given honest comments when the comment has been a serious one. As you may be aware I also make silly or jovial comments at times, in which case I simply say whatever I find appropriate as opposed to what I really believe.

@AbbyGreenhill Well, I can't be rude to people. It's just not my way. And unless I walk in their shoes, I don't really know how their life is. So I move on and return later with a different discussion where I might have something better to say.

@abbygreenhill I avoided giving a response and focus on another part of the post, or just give it a like and go on with my lotting. I don't like to be dishonest. I am honest when I tell you that Ruby is so sweet looking. Very cute!

I'm not sure why my first response didn't post..I'll try again. I am honest, but may give a Wisjh washy non committal response when I really want to ask them if they are really that stupid... There are many discussions I just move on past. Anything I say will get me into trouble.
