I saw this on a survey on Tellwut and looked up the article for my friends here at myLot. I think it's pretty amazing, don't you? Have a look! http://www.celestialhealing.net/internalhealth/foods_look_like_body_parts.htm

It's pretty interesting. Especially since I had no idea what some of those foods benefit.

It really resembles the organs of the body. The best thing, it is healthy food.

Yes but I never realized they resembled our organs. That is so fascinating to me

I think of a uterus when I see an egg plant.

Really? I just see and eggplant! It makes me think of butternut squash, though, with its shape.

You know as amazing as this is, it does not surprise me Dragon. My son was reading or rather audio listening to some science book and told me that all life depends on plants..it is no wonder everything is connected like that. It is something though that was on Telwut. Rather cool, I can dig it too.

Are you on Tellwut, too? I really enjoy that place and it's so easy to get the gift cards.

@dragon54u No I do not have the patience for that site for some reason. Although it is good.

This is a wonderful thing we were taught while still quite young. We find it amazing that some will also crave the vegetable or fruit they need to heal.

I have never heard of it. But that explains why I sometimes crave certain foods, I guess.

It sure is! Also makes it easy to eat more or less of what you need depending on what body part you're trying to improve.

I heard about that a couple years ago and was amazed then, this one looks more detailed than I remember, and yes, totally amazing. If we ate all those we wouldn't have any health issues.

You're right but unfortunately, I dislike most fruits and vegetables. I could exist on baked goods and chocolate very happily, hence my constant battle of the bulge! I do force myself to eat them, though, but it's not pleasant.

@dragon54u There are only two on that list I don't like, and four that I no longer can due to the medical problem I have.

It makes sense to me. People knew long before they knew what their organs looked like which foods were good for what. I've always been told ginger is good for the stomach and got that wisdom from my grandmother who heard it from hers before x-rays were invented!

This is interesting, they do resemble the body organs. More over they are very good for health and that's what matters more.
