That sounds awesome, but I doubt he did. In fact,safe to say he did not. My "People Should Be Banned From Mars" post and his latest "New Rules" skit have a lot of parallels to them.
Mr Maher did make his a lot funnier than mine and he used a high tech graph to prove our points. Well, maybe not, which was part of the comedy. Oh well, that is why he gets paid the big bucks, but at least I can say I beat you first on this Topic BILL MAHER!! So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Oh, what's that, you will! Get it because Bill Maher is a big pot head.

I wish it worked like that. I think if you watch enough science stuff, news, documentaries and even TV shows. You can see they have been bombarding us with how we want to try to make Mars a 2nd home. Probably just a case where similar mindsets to a degree thought similar things.

@crossbones27 When I was a kid, we were bombarded with how we would have been able to make the Moon a 2nd home. As soon as they landed onto the moon, it was clear that this was not going to happen. Now it's Mars, what next?

I do not mind exploring it, but not to make it a second home, unless we want to send all the bad people there. That might be an idea.
