16 hours duty

Today is a bad day for me.I had to do 16 hours duty.It is so tough to do.My reliever took a sudden leave without any prior notice .So i have to do a prolonged duty.

Oh that's sad . It happens when our reliever takes leave without information. Will you get a compensatory leave against this?

that would be 2 shifts of 8 hours each. i hope they give you a day off tomorrow so you can rest. what type of job is it, if i may ask?

yes.2 shifts of 8 hours each.my reliever was absent.So i have to do it.
