I Love Spring

I love Spring, but it makes me lazy. I spent time outdoors mowing yesterday and enjoying the sunshine.
The fresh air meant I slept very relaxed. So much so in fact that I want to go back to bed.
We are anticipating another nice day locally, perhaps breezy starting mid morning, but warm and sunny as well.
Again, my picture is a flower at my brother's house. My daffodils and tulips have bloomed but the irises have not unfurled themselves yet.
I suppose I must get dressed and go to work, have a beautiful day where ever you are.

I love spring too, and spent time today walking round a huge garden with a tulip display... but more to come on that... with photos lol... I jope you're spring like weather improvescand brings more of your flowers to life.

I have a lot of wildflowers, that is, weeds. They are pretty as well.

@GardenGerty Here in India spring is not noticeable as much as it shows at your end.

@mom210 You should be able to winter over some things that are chancy here, like rosemary. There is a variety called "Barbecue" that people pick the stems to skewer their meats on to grill.

@GardenGerty that is something I need to learn more about and get better at planting. We use tons but I do not grow them.

These were south of me, in Oklahoma. Mine have not yet bloomed. They may not get enough sun.

My iris are not yet blooming, both of these are my brother's. Seasonally we are about three weeks behind his location. I knew someone in San Ysidro, Cali. that cross bred iris as a hobby.

I grew the irises many years ago.Here it is late Spring and the weather stays fine lately.

There are more that will soon open. At the bottom of the picture you may see the ragged edge of a tulip. I helped him plant those.
