~2.5 Hours-No Way!~

Hey everyone! Today went by before I even realized it. That's been happening a lot to me lately. I don't know what's going on. Lol. I guess because I have a goal I'm working on with the kids rooms-that's been occupying my time. Of course the babies take up most of my day. Today while the babies napped I talked with my mom on the phone. We talked for 2.5 hours! That's the longest conversation I have ever had with her or anyone else on the phone. Lol. It was nice though. It felt like I was back in her living room drinking coffee and talking together again. =) Have you had a long but great phone conversation recently?

Platespinner and I had an extended conversation on Sunday. I wasn't sitting in my living room. I was walking along the recreational trail in our community.

Not on the phone but my BFF and I had a fun conversation last night on FB. She lives in oklahoma and I live here in Boise. Talked about so many things from favorite tv shows, kids and our last stage of our lives.

That is great that you and your mom had such a wonderful chat. I don't remember the last time I talked on the phone for any length of time. I don't like talking on the phone. When my mom was alive though we use to talk for hours and hours.

I will sometimes have a long convo with my mom too. We don't talk that much on the phone but when we do the convo usually lasts at least an hour. She fills me in on all the family stuff. We also talk about food and what we are going to cook etc, seasonal and community happenings etc.

@LovingMyBabies - Actually I never used to like talking on the phone, way back when homes used to have land lines. But these days I don't have a phone. Most of my kids have cell phones. We don't have land line phones in our house any more. There's social media and most of my friends are online, so that's how we communicate. My husband and kids or people at church talk to me face to face. I don't really have anybody I need to talk to on the phone.

That happens anytime I talk to my sister in law on the phone. She lives in Pennsylvania and since we live in Georgia, we don't see her as often as we would like, so when she calls me or I call her, it is an hour or more on the phone. The last time we talked was around 2 months ago.

@Leapea2417 That is so good that you have someone to do that with. =) My mom and I used to talk like that in her living room but since we are now far away I enjoy our phone conversations.
