End Of April

Hello fellow mylotters, I thought by this time the hubby would be going back to work by now. We've had some beautiful 70-80 degree (Fahrenheit)weather, in fact, we've even been to the lake several times.
The hubby's unemployment has been exhausted, so he's been working when he can with his brother trucking. However, since he hasn't known for sure when he was going to get hired back, he's been sticking home pretty much.
Well, lately the highs have only been getting up in the 50's and the lows in the 30's!!
He did get word that it will probably be about the week of May 8th before he goes to work. Probably because of the cold spell that has set in. Yeah, he's on the road and there's snow! Have seen from different friends on FaceBook how they're getting snow. We have a chance of snow tonight and tomorrow. Not suppose to get too much though and my lucky husband is headed for Texas!!

Hopefully when he comes to Texas he won't have to face the thunderstorms @STOUTjodee .

@nanette64, he'd rather be in a thunderstorm than be in snow!! He's an experienced driver (past the million mile mark a few times), but he doesn't like the cold weather!! lol
Before we got remarried again, he was still on the road and when we were getting the wedding preparations made in November and we had snow in Nebraska, he would send pictures on his cellphone of the sun shining and flowers blooming in Texas. He likes rubbing it in!!

@STOUTjodee Oh that meanie! I still remember the blizzard of 1975 at the end of April in Nebraska. We had 3 tornadoes here in Texas yesterday.

@nanette64 , hubby is headed down to Galveston, Texas today with a load. The sun is shining though here finally again in Nebraska!! lol

In the nineties here today so no chance of snow. I think Florida would cease to exist if we got snow.
