Best feeling ever is not having to set the alarm for the morning

Looking forward to maybe sleeping in tomorrow. I usually don't but it could happen. I love my Saturday mornings.
Another Friday has come to an end. I could hear thunder off in the distance and was hoping we would have a good thunder and lightening storm but it never happened. I enjoy a good storm especially at night.
Well off to bed I go but I will be back whenever I wake up or whenever the cats decide it is a good time for me to get up. Bye for now and have fun mylotting.

Great idea..it is hard to stay in bed when it is so nice outside. I am the same way.

Glad that you don't have to set your alarm in the morning during the weekends. I set up my alarm at 1pm - but now I don't need it because I am already awake. Have a good day.

I had to set an alarm today as my son has a baseball game at 9. Sad thing is I woke up an hour and half before my alarm went off.. ugh!
I'll also need to set an alarm tomorrow. They're starting rehearsals for the church pageant so I have to make sure the boys get to church on time.. thankfully that starts at 10 so I can sleep in a little.

@katsmeow1213 I had a hard time with that when my kids were grown and doing their own things. I had no idea what to do with my free time. Empty nest syndrome hit me hard.

I am sure you enjoyed not having to set your alarm. I wish I didn't have to wake up so early. But unfortunately, I don't have much choice in the matter. My kids tend to wake up early. Especially my eldest and youngest. Something I just have to deal with for the moment.

I agree with you, although I'm always afraid of sleeping all day! I did wake up a few times, but turned over and went back to sleep. When I finally got up, I was afraid to look at the time, but it was 10:30, which wasn't bad at all! And I felt so good!

I was not much into alarm clocks even while I was working. My biological clock took care of that.

No it doesn't but even if I wake up at the same time, it is nice not to have to rush out the door to go to work.

@Happy2BeMe Thanks, it went quite well, we sold a lot of stuff. We even sold stuff that people asked for that we didn't have for sale. We had some fishing rods out there, but a guy asked if we had any lures, a little while later my husband produced his tackle boxes and he sold one full of stuff. He doesn't need his tackle boxes without his fishing poles.

The alarm goes off every morning at 5:30. Even when we are on vacation, without the alarm, we still awaken at that time. The life of a farmer and his wife.

Yes for sure. Your body just gets use to it. I get up at 6:30 even on the weekends when I don't set my alarm.

I hate thunder and lightening... it thundered here this morning for maybe half an hour off during two hours of rain. I was shocked as it's been forever lol. Goodnight
