As I said in my earlier post I stopped by the thrift store this morning on my way back home. I went with only one thing to buy. I wanted some more books. As you know if you keep up with these posts, the thrift store I shop at sells their books for $2 a bag.
Today I picked up eleven books. I kept nine and gave two of them to a friend. The two I gave to a friend were both John D McDonald books, who happens to be said friends favorite author.
The nine books that I bought for myself are:
-Hamlet by William Shakespeare. I love just about all Shakespeare, and this copy of Hamlet made me pretty excited because it has the original writing and then the play written in plain English.
-The Whitney Chronicles by Judy Bear.
-Always Green by Patti Hill.
-Darkroom by Joshua Graham.
-The Llama of Death by Betty Web.
-Definitely Dead by Charlaine Harris. The sixth book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Im excited to have found another one.
-Louder than Words by Jenny McCarthy. I absolutely love this book.
-Babyhood by Paul Reiser.
-Biscuit Magic. A cookbook with a ton of different biscuit recipes.
So I am pretty excited about this weeks haul. Probably most excited about the Sookie Stackhouse book. Several of these books/authors I have never heard of but I am looking forward to reading them.
