It's been wonderful, but relieved it's over

My husband, our friend, and I enjoyed the work reunion Thursday night. My shoulders were killing me and my husband legs hurt every step he took, but we pushed on and the evening went well. Today was the big day at church. He preached, I sang, taught Sunday School, did the children's message and we had the covered dish dinner afterwards. We were both in pain, but sometimes you do what you gotta do. At least I had teeth! (For those who didn't read a previous post, I was in a panic at the dentist's office on Wednesday after he did some preliminary dental work, leaving me with two missing teeth. Thankfully, he made a temp bridge so I could appear in public!) The last four days have been enjoyable, but of course would have been more so if we weren't both in pain. I said with his hurting legs and my hurting arms that between us we'd make one whole person! But that's so typical of us. We've always be opposite in every way and it's only by the grace of God that we have a wonderful marriage! We both have appointments with the same doctor tomorrow. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and an amazing rest of the week!

I pray that this doctor will be able to help you both. I know you are not a complainer, so I know also that when you say pain, you mean pain. I pray for the both of you to be healed from the top of your heads to the soles of your feet that the Lord will heal you Amen.

Thank you for that amazing prayer! I know God still heals and he has healed us many times. I'm humbled to hear you say that I'm not a complainer. I try not to, but don't always succeed. Thank you again.

I hope you and your husband feel better soon. It's nice to push yourself once in a while. I know how bad it feels afterward though.

@1creekgirl It's so heartening to see you both compatible with each other. I commend you for doing what you do despite the pain. I'm sure your belief in HIM, that inspires you to do so much more. I wish you better pain-free days along with your hubby. God Bless!
