Thrift Store $2 Bag of Books Haul 5/6/17

It's Saturday which meant a trip to the thrift store and a bag of books. Before I get to the actual haul of books that I scored for two dollars. I actually made a couple of purchases that were not book related.
I bought two camisoles at $1.00 each and a Guy Harvey short sleeved tshirt for $1.00. Which I thought was a pretty good deal. Anyhoo, on to the book haul. This week I scored ten books for $2, one fo them was for a friend. I can't even remember the title or author, I saw it and knew it was somehting they would read so I got it. Anyway the nine books I got for myself are:
-The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
-Where We Belong by Emily Griffin
-The Pampered Chef The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home Cookbook
-Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
-Girls in Trucks by Katie Crouch
-Charlie Wilsons War by George Crile
-Mere Christianity by CS Lewis
-The Other Side of the Mountain by EG Valens
-Circus of the Damned by Laurell K Hamilton
I was pretty excited to find Mere Christianity and Charlie Wilsons War. This week the two hardcover books I got made me pretty happy (The Lovely Bones and Where We Belong), and the cookbook was neat. Althought for $2 for all of them, I can't really complain.

I got myself that chair today but it wasn't a thrift store, wish there were one near me to walk to dang it.
You got yourself a pretty awesome bunch of titles there too!
I love thrift stores. Nice you got that one for your friend too.

i love thrift stores too, we only have two close by. the one i always buy the books at is the one we go to just aout every week. the other one i have never been to

I´m not reading much lately. I hope I can go to the doctor in 2 more weeks and get new glasses.

I'll be going to the eye doctor a month from today to get reading glasses. So I can relate to your issue.

Nice steals. No thrift stores or sales this weekend, though my library is having a book sale this weekend, I might have to pass on it this spring and wait until fall.
