Something different on your toasts?

May 9, 2017 10:27pm CST
How do you enjoy yours? I believe that around the world they are very popular, but of course in every culture there may be some peculiar difference, right? What would be yours? I like to put oregano and pepper on my toasts.

I've never heard of anyone having oregano and pepper but it sounds pretty good. I might have Vegemite, peanut butter or jam on mine.

The only thing different I like on my toast is something called Marmite. It is a sort of beef stock. And of course the usual cinnamon and sugar.

I, too, sometimes put oregano and pepper on garlic bread, along with the olive oil, butter, garlic, and cheese, of course. I also like the Lebanese Za'atar seasoning on just about anything. It is thyme, sumac, and sesame seeds, I think.

Egg on toast or cheese on toast and that is it. Prefer those two kinds other flavours might be okay also.

I'm generally happy with a dollop of butter, spread on while it's still hot so that it melts. Marmite on toast is nice. And peanut butter. Scrambled eggs. Baked beans. CHEESE!! Toast goes with anything ... but it must always have butter/margarine on it, otherwise it's too dry. :)

I love apple butter on my toast but I prefer almost everything to have garlic on it though.

I don't put the same thing on it every time I eat it. Uusually if it's breakfast, I usually do butter and apple butter. or butter and honey

I put cheese and garlic powder, or I put chocolate or vanilla spread to it.
