UGH Another Nasty Rainy Day

Just another rainy day here in my neck of the woods. I can't say for sure but it seems like this is the rainiest coolest spring in forever.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day and the whole family will be here. So, today I'm doing a general tidy up and then this afternoon I'll be baking a cake for my daughter's birthday and she's going to make cake pops for the kids for tomorrow.
Last night I made her fried chicken cutlets as her birthday dinner and she was supposed to go out tonight with her friends but, the weather is just too nasty for her to drive to meet them so she's staying home.
I have two nice steaks in the freezer so we'll be having them with mashed potatoes and onion rings. Then we'll find a movie to watch and have a quiet evening at home.
Tomorrow will be chaotic since we're 20 people and with 10 grandkids it can get pretty loud. My grandson's birthday is today and he's 12 yrs old so we'll also be celebrating his big day tomorrow too.
As you can see we have lots of partying to do tomorrow.
I'm just hoping all the rain comes today and tomorrow the sun will shine.

A week ago the forecast for Michigan showed rain this weekend, but then it must have changed direction because now we're not supposed to get anything until next weekend and maybe a little during the week but not for the whole day.
We had more rain this May thus far than I remember ever having but we didn't have much last month that I recall. Maybe after today it will sidestep PA for you guys too for a bit so you can have nicer days coming up.
You will certainly have a full house tomorrow if that's where it will be. Have fun with all your family. We did our mother's day celebration last Sunday since my nephew finally married the mother of his two kids, the most recent under three months. Since my sister comes in from Detroit, they decided to do everything when she was already here which the rest of us don't mind doing.
The group home where my mom is living is having an ice cream social tomorrow after church, so we'll be going for that although she won't remember we were there, but that's okay.

I love rainy weather but I agree that too much of any kind of weather can make you feel kind of awful. With me, it's all the sunshine and lack of rain. There's rarely a cloud in the sky here and it's downright depressing!

It is cloudy and lightly raining here too, but that is not stopping my son and his friend from going golfing. I hope you have a great Mother's Day tomorrow too.

Motherhood is special. You are wonderfully and fearfully created in your mother's womb, God divinely engineered you in a very special way so that you're unique and peculiar of its kind in this world, no one must parallel you in design, matchless in your gifts and abilities.
Treasure her motherhood; by saying, 'no one even smells like you,' in this mother's day. What ever she does that hurts you emotionally or distances you from her must be quenched in this mother's day. Give her that motherhood special by hugging and kissing ,which she deserves from you, without her you wouldn't be here.
All those parties which you mentioned, must be of course secondary in your thoughts. Your primary forcus must be collectively directed to your mother.
Day in and day out, I search the net to start an online business just because of my mum, I really treasure every moment she shared with with me. Tears are naturally rolling down my eyes as I am writing this particular paragraph.
Here in my country, (Papua New Guinea) we have two seasons wet and dry. Enjoy every season that comes your way, if it is raining, enjoy it, if the Sun is shinning enjoy it, tomorrow never comes.
