I heard mention of a sequel. Anyone know if its still in the works? Last rumor I heard is it was going to take off right where the last movie ended.

There used to be a link for Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day on IMDb. I jsut checked and it seems they've taken it down. I figure this sequel has about the same chance of seeing the light of day as StarCraft: Ghost.

Ha, you're right. Was my first post, trying to get a feel for this "wizard" to make a post stuff. The movie I was referring to was Boondock Saints. A sequel was mentioned, and my buddy who works at AMC stated he heard the same. Its supposed to continue right where the last one left off. Haven't heard much though.

I heard they were gonna make a sequel to but know all the sights that were talking about it they took it down. I guess there having some problems "In a recent interview with IGN, Troy Duffy expressed his, as well as most of the casts', interest in making the sequel. There is currently litigation concerning rights. Duffy explained once the legal battle finishes, a sequel seems likely. In June 2006, it was announced that due to the success of The Boondock Saints on DVD, Fox has agreed to finance a sequel [17]. In September of 2006, a video (released originally in the theater for a one night showing in May 2006) was posted to the Boondocks website.[18] In this video, Troy Duffy explains the legal issues of the sequel, confirms that the sequel will in fact be a reality, and mentions a new project written by Duffy, called The Good King. It also announces that the film will have a theatrical release in the United States." I hope this clears it up

Yes its true there will be a sequel. The reason it’s taken so long is because of the lawyers at the studio. And the first draft of the movie stated that the movie begins in Ireland where they have fled and are resting peacefully, until someone is impersonating them back in Boston giving them a bad name. So they go back and kick but

It was supposed to pick up during the court room scene in the first one. the story was after everything that went down, the brothers go to Ireland with their father. Back in the States, somebody is killing priests in the name of the Saints, so they come back to straighten things up. The sequel, 'All Saints Day', was on http://imdb.com, and was listed as 'In Production'. Around the same time filming was supposed to start, the entry was gone. I'm guessing it probably fell through.
