Malfunction!

I swear, Windows 10 causes nothing but issues, especially on computers. I was ready to do a long day of work because I woke up at 7am due to a sick stomach, took a shower, felt all better and wanted to get to work. Then I open up my laptop, it boots up and thennnn nothing. The screen was lit up, but nothing was showing. I could tell it was on the login screen but I could see nothing. So I looked things up, the guy I was talking to knows a little bit about computer stuff, so I ask him. But I also fell asleep because I was stressed out. I saw something online later after waking up and saw that if I got an HDMI cord, I could see the screen on another monitor and so my mom got us an HDMI cord which are really good to have. I was talking to his guy and he was telling me it wasn't going to work and well, what do you know? It worked. Then I put all my files on a flash drive just in case I would have to do a factory restore. Thankfully I didn't, I just needed to do a system restore because windows 10, any time it wasn't to update it does something stupid. Oh well. The system restored worked and I have my laptop back in order! Also, some advice, when you tell yourself "I should back up those files" DO IT! don't wait, just do it! Because I would have lost some of my drawings on here and it would have sucked!

@DesirousDreamer I do not have Windows 10.It is frustrating when our computers malfunction. You have given a good advice. We should back up our files immediately.Or we are going to regret when all is lost.

It is irritating, like windows 10 has a lot of good functions, but it is mostly just so buggy. Backing up is good to do, you never know when something might not be working anymore.

Thanks for the reminder about backing up as anything can happen with the internet.

At least you got it working again. I have had to do a system restore once in the last year.

It is not fun but better than a factory default.
