Those in the US have seen the ads for Airborne, the pill you take to keep from getting sick (colds, etc.). How many of you have tried it and does it work?

We have tried the Walgreens verison of it and it seems to work rather well. Though I really can't stand the taste so I kind of avoid it lol

Is it a real zinc taste? Do they have it in pill form that you just swallow?

Its just nasty taste, I can describe it. You put it in a glass of either cold water or hot and drink it. *shivers*

I am not familiar with it but it sounds pretty interesting and may try it. Is it an over the counter med or prescription medication? A this time of the year, I will try anything.

Airborne's not medication at all. It's a tablet that dissolve in some water and drink. It's full of all sorts of vitamins and stuff.

I use Airborne or the generic equivalent and find it very helpful. Two days ago I felt as if I were coming down with a cold. I had the scratchy throat, body aches, and felt like crap. I took a generic Airborne and the next day felt much better. My mother takes it whenever she goes into public places. Better to be safe than sorry.

I use AIRBORNE all the time and it seems to work great!! I have not had even a cold in more than a year!! I use it along with Zycam (another homeopathic remedy) and Echinecia when I start to feel ill and has proven to be very effective. Sometimes I wonder if it is just a placebo thing, but who is going to argue with consistent results?

I've taken Airborne and have never gotten a cold after flying somewhere. I am not sure if it works or not, but I haven't gotten sick after a flight. It's worth a try.
