I always put key words at the bottom of a discussion I make up, but have started not to do it for response.

Is it necessary to do it for responses?

No but i think it is neat that you do it on responses to, i think the only purpose it is for search engines.

I don't do it and it would seem the majority of myLotters don't either. But it's entirely up to the individual as to whether they do or not. I'm off to read the comments to see if there is a good reason for adding key words to responses.

I am beginning to think it does not add to anything.

@MsBooklover I use the keywords when I want to check on a particular post or subject. They are useful in that way but I don't use them for comments or responses.

I don't know the purpose of putting the key words in the comments. Maybe someone else will enlighten us.

@MsBooklover So, until someone gives a reason for doing so, we'll wait.

It's up to you. I don't do it on responses and only ever tag my own discussions.

I have never done it for a response, and I've never looked to see if anyone else has either.
