Waiting for the sun

I have lots to do today. For the outdoor work I am waiting for the sun.
The birds are greeting the day, and the coffee tastes great. I have already made a smoothie for hubby and I. I have been adding protein powder to it.
We may have rain again today, but until then, I have outdoor business to do.

It looks to me as if we are going to have rain today. Still, it's not hot, it's not cold, there's no snow, there's no gusts of winds to take down trees. I don't mind a bit of grey skies if the weather remains calm and the day ticks on quietly.

Hi, I have not seen you in a while. That is how yesterday turned out for me as well. Often by this time of year it is hot here in Kansas.

If it doesn't rain again before I'm up and mobile, I might dig up a few things from my garden to take with me to my new place. (I've been up since 6am but haven't done much other than have my tea and meds and checked my email... hardly mobile.)

The sun did come out and I dug up two parts of my rhubarb plant -- one for me to take to my new place and one for my friend a couple doors down. She also asked for some blackberry bushes, so I dug up some of those, too. Then I transplanted them in her garden. My rhubarb part is in a large pot now. And there's still a goodly portion left in the garden I'm leaving behind.

Hope you get all the outdoor stuff before any rain decides to fall on you. Remember sweet people tend to melt away in the rain and wet weather. Hehe

Was it hot there? No rain was intermittent here. I did try the riding mower once, but it would not start, hubby says there is a reset switch. I may make it today. I got some of the pesky small areas with the walk behind mower.

I did have a good day, and figured out some reorganizing, cause it rained anyway. The rain makes it nice to plant things though, as they get good water that way.

We ended up with rain yesterday, off and on. Some people mow but I did not. It will happen today or tomorrow.

I am well, and for the most part happy. Not happy about hubby having a stroke, but things will be better in time.
