Been Flat Out Crazy

I miss everyone so much, I will try to do some reading tonight as I sit by my mother's side. She is 101 and has pneumonia. It has been a scary time and we are still not out of the woods. This has just been one of those months when life interferes with Mylot!! I have been posting on Facebook so if we are friends you know what has been going on.
Bear with me please and pray for my mom, she is strong but it is hard to watch her. I will bring my phone and try to do a little catching up tonight.

Thanks Judy, she is a fighter and even though her quality of life isn't great wants to hang on for a bit!!

@BelleStarr Her desire to live is half the battle. I hope she gets relief as far as her healing up completely from this.

Thank you so much, it is hard especially since she is just so tiny, I won't say fragile since they tell me how strong she is but she is delicate. She is a fighter so I am hopeful.

Thanks this is a very trying time, it is a fine line between helping and allowing someone to die and I think we have moved into the fighting stage.

@JudyEv that is a fine age and you were blessed to have her that long but yes when the quality of life isn't there it gets hard to pray for it to continue

@BelleStarr I know what you are saying about the 'fine line'. My Mum got to 104 but the last year wasn't a lot of fun for her.

Thanks Julia, it has been crazy with family things even before she got sick. I so appreciate the prayers, I think that the prayers got her through this. Not that she is in the clear but at least she is eating again.

She seems to be improving so we are going to give her an antibiotic and see if we can knock out pneumonia. She decided to start eating and drinking again so we are delighted.
