So, Really, Am I Invisible Or What?

Remember that song from the musical Chicago, I think it was called Mr. Cellophane? Where the character feels like everyone is looking past him or through him? Well, really, lately it feels like I am invisible. Or maybe people are blind or purposefully obtuse? Come on, learn to acknowledge a person, for Pete's Sakes, no person is better than another. And stop kissing up to those you think will get you somewhere whether you really like them or are interested in them or not. I refuse to chase after people. I also count. I can't stand people that are lazy or unfair. Or think it is fine to take but not give. And now that I have had a good rant. Have a good Tuesday, all!

Of course I remember "Cellophane", great performance! Too many think that is normal to take and not to give. They are selfish and arrogant, but one day will come they will be invisible.

@LadyDuck _There are occasions when it is good to be invisible. Like when someone is looking for you because they want to borrow money.

Thats a great attitude. Once we realize we are just as important as the next one, it changes things, doesn't it?

It is awful when someone just ignores us as if we are not there. No need to let such people ruin our day as we have better things to do. Mr, Cellophane with lyrics

I agree with you completely. I don't remember the character but sometimes I feel I am cellophane too. Not so much in real life but on line for sure....

I so hate lazy and unfair people. They usually take you granted and behave as if they rule the world. It is better to ignore them.

I don't have any time to bother myself with people who are can't take the time to treat me as I deserve. I think it is time to get some new friends or maybe reconnect with some old friend who may have drifted away. We have made a lot of new acquaintances in our exercise classes.

Yes, and sometimes enough is enough. I really don't get people who think they don't have to make an effort when someone has made an effort for them @Kandae11
