May 2017 the month in review

Here we are again - at the start of a new month. May has been pretty eventful. I went to a dance show with friends, and performed at a dance show. Started kitty-sitting a cat, and planted my garden. Went through all of the clothes I owned and got rid of a great deal at a "clothing swap". I got rid of 5 , 20 gallon bags, and came back with only a few items, so that was nice. Learned to use my new phone (yay!), went in an escape room and did fairly well with goals. I have a "try 2 new recipes" a month goal - and I really was able to meet that one quite well. My new recipes were English muffin bread, Taco pie bake, 5 cheese mac n cheese, Cajun shrimp and sausage, and Peanut Butter mug cake. Of course I fell way short of my financial goals. What can I say? I love going out to eat, buying myself little treats, and of course I noticed some clothing items I could use in the process of cleaning out my closet, so I bought some of those items to replace what didn't fit anymore. Hope next month will be easier, money wise. Did read the 9 of the 8 books that is my monthly goal. (Or I listened to them in audiobook format, rather.) These included "The Stand" - Stephen King, "Ideal" - Ayn Rand and "White Oleander" - Janet Fitch. And thanks to bullet journaling more regularly - I can put together what events caused what moods, though being aware of it is fun - I don't know how to improve. Fitness goals were a bit short of my 12 "goal" days of 10,000 steps or more, I came in with 7 "goal" days, however this is up greatly from the previous months where it was 2 or 3 "goal" days. I hope May was as fun for you as it was for me and I can't wait to catch up with how you've been, too. Photo :Mine
