Do you have a lot of waterfalls in your area?

We have so many of them. The above picture is taken right behind where I live. There is a beautiful walking trail to get to it and the water is great for swimming. It is a popular swimming hole for many teenagers. I love going there and just sitting on the rocks and listening to the water as it rushes down. It is also a great place to have a picnic.
I don't have any winter pictures because it is hard to get to in the winter and early Spring put it really is a sight to see when the snow and ice are melting the there is so much water coming down the falls.
Are there any waterfalls where you live?

They are rare in Mississippi. I have been to one about a hour and a half from us.

Wow that is beautiful! I'm actually not sure since I haven't seen any here yet. I think they are beautiful and peaceful so I will have to look around.

I wish I had a beautiful waterfall like that where I live as I certainty would enjoy relaxing in such a serene environment. We have a nearby park with a tiny little waterfall

That is a pretty waterfall. My hometown doesn't have a lot of them but my college town does.

I have in our garden which I had designed and instalaled a few years ago. Not much compared to those natural falls but that sound is quite appealing
A water fall in a garden is a soothing experience, specially when one strolls around in the garden.
