Tibetan Plateau is Tibet's biggest and the world's most astounding highest plateau, known as the " top of the world. Tibet Plateau yearly normal temperature underneath 0 celsius, wide-ranging territories of the hottest month normal temperature is under 10 celsius. Tibet Plateau is for the most part between 3,000-5,000 meters above sea level, with an average ascent of 4,000 meters, a similar number of tremendous streams in the East, Southeast and South Asia, the support; various lakes on the plateau. "Namtso " lake is the largest lake on the Plateau, she is a standout amongst the most exhaustive and broadly known as one of the most holy, sacrosanct lake by the native of the Tibetan Plateau.

And is this lake frozen too? It is so beautiful up there. But so cold. I love it. I know the air is so clear.

@TiarasOceanView Climate changes and global warming It is happening right now. Example is the Antarctica, it has experienced temperature increases and effects on the ecosystem. The penguin colonies has changed as the sea ice conditions alter.

@TiarasOceanView The Lake will be frozen at the end of winter, but sadly, because of global warming and climate changes, the sacred lake doesn't get frozen easily in these days.

In fact I haven't been to Tibet yet. I think it is a challenge to go there because of it locates in high plateau. I am afraid I will feel sick or uncomfortable to it. I ever went to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yunan Province. I must to say that I felt hard to have a breath there because it was very high mountain. I needed to take a break when I walked a few steps.

@youless yes at higher altitudes, lesser amount of oxygen does impacts us negatively.

@youless This is the symptom of high altitude sickness and it caused one physically feel uneasy, migraine, headache and shortness of breath.

@Shavkat it is very much a physical challenge for people living on a tropical island and not regularly exposed to above sea level high mountains and also under such an extreme freezing cold condition.
