How Do You Stay Organized?

I am one of the worst people out there when it comes to organization. I am a mess. I don't even know where to begin. Most of my mess comes from being nearly incapable of doing anything due to pain issues for a while. So everything is a disaster. My fiance works full-time, so it wouldn't be right to ask him to come home and clean up after everything. But things have changed now. My health is better and I am planning on doing a big cleaning haul in the next few days. I think cleaning some clutter will make things so much easier in my life.

Write a little plan of action for the day in point form in a diary.Scratch them through when completed. Gives one a good feeling to see the tasks ticked. Just a few things every day, especially if you are not feeling up to it. Small steps at a time.

I could tell you how not to be organised, which is an easier job.

I'm not good at cleaning and organizing. Never really have been. But I am trying to change that. With three kids, there's a lot to do and it's not fair for my husband do it all. I hope you are able to organize and clean up a little.

Baby steps. One step at a time. In time you'll get used to it.

I am probably what you call a neat freak. Everything in its place.

Yes, having things organized will make life easier - at least that's how it is with me. Just do one part or section at a time. It's always overwhelming in the beginning but it gets better as you go along with the organizing... Good luck!
