My engagement ring

This is my first, but also technically my second, ring.
As the first one was a promise ring / pre-engagement ring that my fiancé gave me five years ago next month, when we went out to eat at Buca Di Beppo one afternoon.
It was a pretty plain ring.. just silver, and had three little diamonds. The middle one was a tad bigger than the other two. Which was perfectly fine with me, because I'm not a jewelry person.
But this one. This one is a beauty! Even for me who's not a jewelry person, lol. As it's heart shaped like I like and wanted. And is blue/sapphire which is one of my favorite colors, and just so happens to be my fiance's birthstone color! Ugh, it's sooo pretty, thankfully. 
And he gave it to me two years ago, next month. On my nephew's birthday, actually. Lol.

Very nice...hum....looks like you chew your nails. I did that for years and stopped.

@Courtlynn So that's no longer an 'engagement' ring I take it. That's what my nails looked like when I chewed them.

@AbbyGreenhill it is an engagement ring. Always will be. We just don't want to get married anymore. We're fine with how things are and don't need a piece of paper to say we love one another

I wear a plain silver ring that has mine and my boyfriend's names engraved on the inside. I wear it on my left ring finger so I guess people always assume I'm married (we may as well be.) He has a matching ring but he doesn't wear his. They were promise rings I bought us years ago for our anniversary.

@Courtlynn My dad has never worn a wedding ring, so I grew up thinking that was normal. I guess some men just aren't into jewelry!

That is a very pretty ring! I wear my wedding band that my husband designed and engagement ring every day, and a plain, wide gold wedding band if I'm doing yard work or out and about and don't want to wear my diamonds. I never wear any other ring on my left hand. On my right hand, I wear a variety of rings depending on the occasion and outfit, all bought by my husband.

It is a beautiful ring! I only wear my engagement ring and wedding band. I have many rings that I love to wear, but only wear them occasionally.

My engagement ring is a simple one almost similar with your ring but no color in the middle and more slimmer. I used to wear it together with my wedding ring on our 1st year after I kept the engagement ring and always wear only the wedding ring

@Courtlynn ..Actually, I really do not mind how it looks but the feeling of happiness receiving it from the person whom you love to be with you to a journey towards a new life of your very own family makes it too much valuable and expensive

I do like your ring. I wear my engagement ring and wedding ring every day. It doesn't quite feel right if I don't have them on. They're not extremely fancy. My engagement right has a few diamonds, and my wedding band has a nice design to it. I like them.

It is beautiful really. When I was engaged and married I never took my rings off. Now I wish someone remembered to give me any kind of ring as I feel awkward buying jewelery to myself.

It's beautiful, I don't wear my ring all the time either. I wear out sometimes but usually when I get home I put it away in it's safe place. I definitely don't wear it to work, because I'm a waitress and don't want to ruin it because I'm constantly washing my hands and such...
