Favorite baby shower gifts

A month before I was due to have my daughter, my mom, my grandmother and my elderly neighbor put together a babyshower for me.
It meant alot to me that I had one, as I know lots of people don't have alot of friends and family in order to have one. Even if mine consisted of more my ex's family than mine, and only two of my friends.
But what meant the most, was that one of my ex's Aunts thought long and hard about the gift she was going to get us. She actually got us two.
One was a wooden box with a scrapbook look of a babies bedroom with my daughters name on it. The other gift was this magnetic train, made of the letters of my daughters name.
It's so unique! I didn't even know things like this could be made / bought!! But I absolutely love it!! It's definitely my favorite babyshower gift. Although it's very long when put together. Lol.

That is a very pretty wooden magnetic train! I do not have a child, but we threw my sister a baby shower.

Thanks. I wish i had room to have it out in my room but i dont so its just sitting apart in my daughter baby box.

Yes my Mother in law had a babyshower for me.
One of the things someone got me was a Jenny Lind baby bed.
Nice you still have those gifts.

I have all her gifts still. Clothes and blankets too. Have struggled over the years with if i should get rid of them or not.. is that like, a bassinet

Well my son is 28 so my baby shower was a long time ago lol. One gift I remember came from my husband's boss..and it was a little race car outfit. It was the cutest thing! I got a lot of stuffed animals from co workers, and my mom crocheted a baby blanket.

Lovely gifts. I never heard of such gifts either, she thought a lot about these gifts, which are unique. No baby shower, I don't have child.

I got some clothes but mostly other things. Like a tub, scrapbook from a friend of my pregnancy. Bottles, binkies.

I took baby showers for my co workers in my workplace . Every one sent the gifts for them .It was a great time to bless them .
