~Not Trying to Sound Ungrateful~

I am in some pain right now with a gum infection. No I don't have health insurance and I don't have the money to fill a prescription so...no I can't go to the Er. I will be fine, I'm sure. I'm going to gargle with warm salt water in a few minutes. Hopefully that will at least help even if its nasty. Something is also wrong with my stomach today, it's not feeling good at all and I have been in the bathroom more than not. Sorry if that was too much info. I wish I was laying in my bed to feel better but life still continues even when mommy doesn't feel well. Gosh this has not been our month!! It has to get better, right? My husband and I are drained emotionally, mentally and physically. But hey, we are still alive and I'm grateful for that!

Sorry you have things to do today and your not feeling good. It's hard to function when one is not feeling well. Do you have orajel? Try putting that on your gums it might help. Hope you feel better soon

OH dear sorry to hear about your gum infection. Dental pain is absolutely horrible. I empathise with you and hope it subsides really soon.It may not go away without seeing a dentist and will only get worse!

@LovingMyBabies It seems daft to like you post. I most sincerely do not like it. I want you to be pain free. Do you have any antiseptic mouthwash that contains chlorhexidine? That is usually helpful for gum disease. Bonjela or a dab of whisky on it might sooth the pain. Otherwise do you have any cloves?

@garymarsh6 I have used mouth wash and gargled with salt water, both have helped a bit.

Some anti-septic mouthwash (maybe diluted a bit) might help that infection. I hope that you feel better very soon, as busy as you are.

@LovingMyBabies Try it several times in order to help kill the infection. Oh, and I just thought of rinsing (not gargling) with hydrogen peroxide too. It is cheap and should help with the germs.

Things happen in our lives that are unexpected and not pleasant. We all complain when life gets rough. But it doesn't mean we're not grateful for what we have. On my worst days, I've learned to try and balance the bad with seeing the good in my life. It doesn't always help because the bad doesn't magically go away. But at least it makes me understand that I really do have both good and bad in my life. The bad never takes the good away. I hope your days get MUCH better very soon! xoxo

@CRK109 Yeah, some people here think when you complain about something your ungrateful so I thought I would mention I am grateful, just having a rough time right now. Thank you!

Have you tried gargling or rinsing with apple cider vinegar? I've read that it can help with gum problems.

Orajel,
How about using the stuff that we use for baby's teething pain? Might numb the pain. Orajel is the name.

I know its hard I was where you are now last December, no one helped me, then I asked this one couple and they came to the rescue with a car. It was hard on me because Tony could barely walk and I could not get a way to get his medication. I prayed and prayed, I knew something would give sooner than later. I cried it off and got up and went back at it. No rest for the women . Do you have a dental school down there? Sometimes they will help for nothing. If its an antibiotic Publix fills some of them free. yes FREE, call and ask.
