Poor Merle the cat

My poor kitty Merle was sound a sleep on my dresser and he went to roll over and he fell off. 
He sat on the floor for a minute looking all around as if to say "What happened?" Then he came and cuddled up with me for a while but now he's back on the dresser again.
So have any of your pets fell off of things when they were sleeping?

@Happy2BeMe my mum's cat used to do that a lot, mostly from the sofa or coffee tables

@arthurchappell lol that's good then. When my son was little he fell out the top bunk of his bunk bed in the middle of the night.

Poor Merle! I don't Milo has fallen off things while sleeping. He would probably be horribly embarassed if he did.

My dogs have fallen off the couch many times while asleep and not asleep. Jasper loves to hang his head and half his body off the couch while he sleeps with his legs straight up in the air. I will have to take a picture of him the next time he does it.

No . I only have a dog and he always sleeps close to the ground so no chance of that. Hope Merle is OK
