I'm Hungry

I had an appointment with my eye surgeon this morning so we left the house at 7 to be at her office at 8. The drive would take an hour at that time in the morning with all the traffic on the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way), our six lane major highway.
I ate my breakfast way too early and its not even close to noon but I am hungry.
The photo above is my lunch. I made a BLT ( Bacon Lettuce and Tomato) in a wrap, emptied the dill pickle bottle and some left-over asparagus from dinner last night a few dried prunes for my fruit.
I am painting and will be painting a lot of the time before I go camping with my sister. I want to have at least 50/70 slates done to hold over the store that sells them for the month of July.
I am taking the month off... I'll be camping and visiting family...
My surgeon wanted to see me in July but I told her I would be out of the country for the whole month and would be delighted to see her in August. And I will...
I'll stop by when I take breaks but once again I will be so far behind I will think I'm first.

Thank you, we had a blast and some disappointments but always fun while camping. When the grands were there for a weekend, the kids had a tent to play in and the dog loved it too...

Me too, tomorrow I will drive to my sisters house, then two days later we will bbe going camping. I hope the traffic will not drive me crazy...

@LadyDuck I lucked out, left the house before 6 am, and missed all the traffic I was expecting. Heading to camp today, our cars are almost packed.

Did some shopping with my sister yesterday, today we pack my van, hers will wait, we have more shopping for the 5th and head out on the 6th. Happy 4th of July!

I am offically done painting. I stocked the store big time. but I am taking slate with me just to do the painting at the top...getting ready to be ready when I get home. There is a lot of time while camping to do it...

We are camping for two weeks, but it takes a few days to get organized/ groceries/ and stuff the cars. When camping is over I go to Vermont and Massachusetts to visit my husbands sister and others. I hope to meet a myLoter in Vermont in July. Since I work for myself I am painting like crazy to leave enough stock for the store. I hope to pay for all my travels and more with my art. July is a tourist month in Niagara On The Lake so they need to have a lot of my slate to sell.

it was delicious and I had my cataracts removed and new lens put in. I can see beautifully now! So happy I had it done.
