Laundry Day

I have spent the last hour trying to get hold of my son to let him know I would be over to pick up his laundry to take to my daughter's. I even left him a FB message just now to let him know I was trying to get a hold of him.
Last week he wasn't home when I went to get his laundry. So this week I'm calling before I leave. No such luck. So I'm just going to go to my daughter's and get it done and get back here. One load won't take long, just a couple hours.
So I'll be back later to finish notifications.
Okay, people. I've heard a lot about today and I just want to set you all in the right direction about what day this is. It's the last day of Spring, NOT the first day of summer. I looked it up and it's at 12:24 AM EST June 21, now that might relate to today according to your time zone, but it is technically tomorrow. Enjoy the last day of spring.
Today is a very important day for one of our myLotters however. It's @DianneN's birthday. Happy Birthday Dianne.
How is your day? The sun is finally shining so I'm going to take advantage of it and get my laundry done before it decides to cloud over again. Thanks for reading.
Edit: My son just called, so I'll be here for a little bit yet. He's not home, but will call me when he is so I can get his laundry too.

Our weatherman said that June 20th was Summer Solstice here and started at about 10:40p. It's different in different areas. Sure is sunny here. In the 90's.

@celticeagle I can only turn the A/C on when someone tall enough to reach it is here and can also turn it off before they leave.

I hope all went well. I might do laundry today or save it for next week but I'm feeling a bit lazy. Rainy days have that affect on me.

@arthurchappell We had rain yesterday and today we have more clouds. I don't know if we're going to get rain or just have a decent summer day without the sun.

@CRK109 Thank you. I was encouraged when I was at my daughter's for laundry on Tuesday, she was leaving on errands when I got there and returned when I was leaving and she asked if I was going so soon. It made my heart so happy to hear her say that. Things are really looking up.

Well looks like you have quite a busy day. Here, it rains almost every day and weather is pleasant and humid alternately. But high heat times are over.
I am into lots of work, and also aiming to up my Mylot earning rate.
Succeeding somewhat, but would have loved to get more time as well.
