It's unbelieveable how cheap people sometimes sell things

I have made arrangements to buy a Cuisinart juicer for 5 dollars. I mean that would be probably close to 100 dollars purchased retail. She said it is still in the box, so I guess it hasn't been used. I may use it a couple of times and resell it. I am sure I could get at least 30 dollars for it, if not..so what? This is a quality product. Have you noticed the low prices people sometimes sell things for? One time I got a free vacuuum when someone was moving. He said he just didn't want to take it with him.

They probably figure if they sell it for close to what it's worth, then they still get stuck keeping it and can't sell it. Which I've seen many a time

I have wanted a juicer so even if I have to keep it, I am OK with it.

On all of the websites, I use they want to sell their items for a lot more than they are worth. I am currently trying to sell some clothes that have only be worn once or twice and I have them set as a good $10 -$15 less than the original price I paid for and some are $20-$25 less than what I paid for them and I can't seem to get anyone interested in buying them. I have 2 skirts that are in good condition, haven't been worn in years, and I am only asking $5 for them when I paid $12-$15 for them. Also trying to sell my old prom dress and I am asking less than half the original price of them. Sometimes things just sell better than others. My parents went to a garage sale and got a lot of good new stuff for $2 one day. It included a brand new black & decker food processor that normally cost $40 or $50 in stores, they also got a small grill, ana old spice rack with the bottles and seat/stepping stole.

Yeah, some garage sales are a Godsend. Some of them are much better than others though. I am interested in attending a 100 mile yard sale. I think it is in this state..that sounds cool.

@snowy22315 I have heard of that yard sale before. I hear it was just one long strip of nothing but yard sale stuff everywhere. I wouldn't mind going to that and it would be good exercise even if I don't buy anything.

You were lucky to get that vacuum.for free. Mine just broke. I will have to get a new one. When people sell things cheaply we must grap the opportunity and buy it

I don't have it yet. She is going away starting tomorrow so I am hoping to get with her Monday. I hope she doesn't sell it to someone else.

Wow that is a good price especially for a Cuisinart juicer. Those things are usually very expensive

Wow on that price. We use a Champion juicer to make peanut butter with. Can't imagine life without it now.

That's interesting, I didn't know you could make peanut butter with a juicer. I guess you must have a special attachment.
