Another morning of sitting and waiting

Breakfast was awful but at least the coffee is good. Yesterday I had lots of visitors which was nice. My boss bought me a huge fruit basket. I sent most of it home with my fiance. My daughter brought me some awesome head phones so I can watch Netflix and a nice pillow because the pillows here suck.
I didn't sleep well at all last night even though I took a sleeping pill. Here it is 8:30 am I have yet to see a nurse. They usually are in at 6 to take my vitals. I am feeling a little off today. I have a dull ache in my chest and neck. First paint I had since I got in here on Monday morning.
Hope you are all having a better day then I am.

Good morning.
Sorry that the breakfast was such a disappointment.
Not feeling as great as you do, why don't you buzz for a nurse to get your vitals done so that nothing is happening that shouldn't be.
Hoping for a better day for you then it has been so far........

BP was a little high. They hooked me up to oxygen for a bit and I feel better.

I hope a nurse comes by soon to take your vitals, especially if you're having chest and neck pain. Maybe you ought to buzz for them to come in and check on you, just to be safe.

@Happy2BeMe I'm glad to hear you're feeling better and that they are staying on the ball. Sometimes you have to advocate for yourself because the nurses get busy and just assume all is well.

I hope the nurse comes in soon to see you and figure out why you aren't feeling too well this morning. It was nice that you had all those visitors yesterday and a nice comfortable pillow to help you sleep. I'm still praying for you Laurel

I think it is hard to have a good sleep because the nurse often comes in to have a check for the patients. This is my experience. This is why when I had to stay in the hospital, I would have a sleep whenever I could. I hope that they can arrange the surgery for you earlier because it is not a good feeling to keep waiting.

That was nice of your boss to get you a fruit basket and your daughters gift was nice as well. If you are having pains you should let them know about them or did they say you would have these. My day will be spent getting thinngs ready to go to my moms for 10 days while she goes on vacation I will be dog sitting for her. I hope your day gets better or at least as good as it will being in a hospital is enough to put anyone in a not good mood. hugs

Yikes..they didn't allow you to pick what you wanted for breakfast? I am sorry you are not feeling well. It sounds like you are getting lots of TLC though, and I am sure that helps. It makes my car problems pale by comparison.
