I Am Feeling Let Down Again

and wondering if this is really the start of continuation of Medical Care being something New and if the patient knows nothing, that is OK, and hey what your insurance knows is different than the way someone can treat you as well. What can I say... I am TIRED of the run around when it comes to Medical Care. About ready to wonder if there is even Hope anymore. And what will it take to feel like a person that can know what they are wanting to do and why. And personally when more goes wrong, I feel like playing Dumb and saying so I guess when everything is Keen then you will listen, but I need to keep quiet allow everything to disrupt so then everything can be Blamed on me again. They removed the Wound Vac which would be a Good thing if I was not so sore that I can hardly sleep. Their answer will be take the pain pills. So when someone is a recovering alcoholic, feed them Drugs? I ran out of Diabetic Medication and wanting to not take the other one they are wanting me to take because of Yeast Infection, etc and my Sugars are going to be back high, and that will be OK until I get yelled at because I know nothing about wanting to take care of myself Diabetic wise. So over and over again this yr is the worst yr and financially if we can somehow get thru this and really back on our feet ever again it will be a Miracle. But anyone who Loves the Medical system the way it is, either has Awesome medical coverage and Doctors and never have to worry about their Health, or you won the Lottery so the high premiums, etc are no Big deal. Right now, I only feel for Seniors and the people serving our country as well as Disabled like me, who have NO HELP out there available. Hey maybe if I was not on my husbands insurance we would be homeless if I was not in really worse Health? Something needs to be done, as I have no say in any of my care ever, and so if they choose to give me care my Health Care does not cover, I have one million dollars that is hanging on the tree outside I can go grab? Am the only one frustrated with the way Medical Care is going?

I have no insurance. Cannot afford affordable care. Exempt due to being native American, however. For my day to day treatment I have discovered the direct model of care. My doctor accepts no insurance. I pay a flat fee monthly, and can see her as many times as I need to or call, text, email or skype. I take a very common diabetic med, she fills it at less than three cents a pill. She talks to me like I have a brain and listens as well when I tell her I am taking certain herbs, for instance. By the way, for me the herbs are helping. She does not know about the latest one, though. If you search "iamdirectcare.com" you may be able to find this type of care if you want it. I also believe, for the record, that the cancer treatment my husband received, damaged his heart, which caused his stroke. Either that or his poor dental health. He has medicare and still works so has an insurance as well. I choose not to take health care coverage where I work because it is more than twice what I spend for direct care.

Same here with none, and yes I do think the cancer treatment is hard on the heart.

I know how you feel, I have no insurance, cannot afford it. If you have a Publix grocery store they have a free medication list, I get my metformin free. I hope things work out and you get well soon!

I don´t understand the different sorts of health insurance in the US. But in my country, the health insurances don´t cover meds.

I am very sorry you are going through all this. Your Medicare system is so different from what we have here in Europe.

I hope your health improves. Take care. I can't comment on the health care there. Here there are no premiums to pay. No bill for going to the doctor or hospital. But medications are not covered. Many have extended health insurance for that.
