I found it easier to carry my daughters on my hip. But it seems that now there are several ways to carry them in a sort of tote bag. When I carried my daughters on my hip, I was told that this was the healthiest way to do it (for the baby).

It is healthy as it lets their hips grow correctly. Moms need to be careful for their own health and posture to vary back and forth from side to side.

I doubt if he wanted to stay there. I am sure he would jump out each time you put him there
I do not know why you are singled out here as the same discussion is appearing elsewhere more having responded there.

@allknowing Thank you. Most local tribes in my city still have this practice of carrying their babies.

Somehow this discussion came at two places. I had asked Admin to merge it. Instead they have deleted one which had responses Thank you for your patience.
Carrying a baby in one's arms could be tiring sometimes.

Personally for me, due to all my Health issues, right now there is no way I would be able to even think about carrying one around, but if I could it cannot be for very long. Usually for me I have to sit down with one, or push them in a stroller.

No toddler to carry around but I know it can be difficult because they squirm a lot. If you need to carry a toddler here's something interesting I found
Sometimes young children will complain about having tired legs, not wanting to walk, or it's just too crowded for them to walk on their own. Here are some solutions to this small problem. Have your toddler stand in front of you. It is...
