Do you have any July 4th plans?

Right now, I am scheduled to go to a barbecue. It seems like most of the time when I go to something like that in the summer it gets rained out or the day is yukky. I really hope this is a nice day for a change. This coming week looks really nice..it would be lovely if July 4 were like that. One never knows what will happen. I do know that the baseball game that our college alumni group has every year is usually scheduled in the hottest part of the summer when the temp might be 100 degrees. Who the heck plans these things??

Let's see, my daughter is in the 4th of July parade again this year, then we throw some hamburgs on the grill for lunch, then free swimming at the community pool. Then fireworks go off in the west mountains around 9 ish. And those fireworks? My front porch faces those west hills and I've got one of the best seats in the house! Richfield Utah really gets into the fourth of July

@librarygeek1980 yes, a lot nofnpeople go out to see them in their boats. Ex has a boat here butnit dfoesnt have any running lights.

@snowy22315 We drive onto the beach so we get a fair amount of space. Plus we meet up with other family members who have their own trucks so we make up like a little beach compound.

Maybe they pick that date because school is over so kids are free and it's vacation time of year.

I used to go visit my parents alot for the 4th since it is cooler where they live..but I just saw them, not in long trip mode.

Last year, we had a gorgeous day for the 4th. I'm sure I'll be home relaxing this year. We should have a carnival next door, so if the weather is good, I'll go down for that for a while!
