I broke my wrist twice when I was young. Well actually I broke my left wrist once, and my right wrist once. I had a full on cast when I was 5, and I have always had terrible hand writing. I read somewhere once if you break a bone in your wrist your handwriting will be bad as the range of motion in your wrist is limited. See, it wasn't me!!! lol...

A whole arm must have been awful..the wrist was bad enough. I still remember how wrinkly, pale and itchy my lower arm was when they took off the cast. I must have itched my arm for 10 minutes.

@TiarasOceanView I tripped over a sandbox with my arm behind me. I was backing away from my neighbor, because he was swiinging close by and I thought he might kick me in the face. In retrospect, I probably would have been less injured with the face kick..

I have broken my right wrist in high school but I still have very good handwriting, always have. I hated when I broke it because I couldn't write and I loved writing! All of my classmates thought I was so lucky because it got me out of homework and school work for a bit but I hated not writing. I was doing gymnastics when I broke my wrist.

Maybe it was because I was so young when I broke it. My roommate said he broke his hand a few times..and his writing is horrible too.

@snowy22315 Yeah that is probably why because at that age your really just learning how to write.

I had minor breaks (a hairline fracture of a rib so slight they had to do a nuclear CT to find it), but I didn't break anything major until I was 54...then I broke my ankle.

My dad broke his ankle once...just kind of breaking through a small pile of wood. He hated that because he couldn't golf.

I broke my right elbow, let's say I really destroyed it. It took a full year before I was able to use my arm and hand again. I learnt to write with my left hand.

@snowy22315 Yes, it was very painful and from that day my elbow hurts every time it's going to rain.
