A Sunday I don't dread!

Good evening everyone. I hope that your day has been going well. The sun is shining and it is absolutely gorgeous here at the Jersey Shore. I was out and about before in my convertible and it was perfect weather to have the top down.
I went out for lunch today to get out of the house for awhile. When I came back, I laid down on the bed to continue reading. That didn't last for very long as I fell asleep pretty quickly upon doing so. I slept for about 2 hours.
This is a Sunday where I haven't had the typical feeling of dread because "Monday is coming" hanging over me. It is great to know that I don't have to go to work tomorrow! I don't have to worry about if that nap is going to mess with my sleep tonight. If I don't sleep well, it isn't going to affect anything! I can just sleep later in the morning.
I need to figure out what I'm doing for dinner though. I didn't take anything out and I'm out of leftovers, so I definitely have to cook something tonight.

Sunday is usually a day to travel around Lake Charles or enjoy reruns of "I Love Lucy" on Me Tv.

@NJChicaa I Love Lucy was the first show to have an interracial couple since the late Desi Arnaz was a native of Cuba.

Well glad you got a nap in & you don't have to worry about if it messes up with your sleep schedule. I work this whole week then I'm off work for 10 whole days, looking forward to it. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Sounds you had a good restful day and a nice day out too Chicaa.
It has been a nice day here too and only sort of watching movies and myLotting, and only going to the shop early.
Already had dinner of raw veggies and jasmine rice.
