Fish Tank Troubles

I can tell you how to have a very long afternoon and evening. We were cleaning the fish tank took the filter apart to put in new media and put back together turned it on and kept pressing button to get the bubbles out of tubing and you can guess it didn't work.
We ended up going to Petsmart where the online price of the filter was a lot less than the store price. Online it was 141.00 in store 229.00. The reason I'm posting is to inform others to get the store to price match and Petsmart informed us they will match other local store prices.

Fish are expensive and I needed a really big filter for the tank. I use to sell fish for many years and only kept my show tank.

@Courtlynn I had Fancy Guppies that were pretty to view and several colors of Mollies for many years. Also had Catfish and really enjoyed viewing fish.

Its because of the tank size and should have had a spare filter on my fish shelf. Many people buy the 10 gallon and 20 gallon tanks and you can get a low cost filter for the tank. My tank is in my office, so my clients see the tank and the tank needs to be quiet.

@silvermist Years ago somebody suggested an office tank to increase sales and it did bring in more money making the extra expense pay off quickly. I use to sell hundreds of fish; however, decided to switch to pond, as easier to care for fish in a bigger body of water.

Its a big tank and the small ones use to take me more time to clean. My business years ago really surprised me to see the hours spent cleaning all the tanks, as I sold fish.

Its the exact same filter, so was surprised at just how much more people can end up spending in the store. Its the reason I posted, as people need to check online before going to the store.
