I know one needs imagination to write well but some times it can really trouble you, You expect to see some one dear to you at x time and tthey do not sow up at the set time. Thn you start to' imagine horrid scenes of the loved one being hurt or ill and in he j hospital or morgue. Your take fellow mylotters does your' imagination ever get you in trouble? I do this too. I think it is rather normal when you love some one.

@Hartley Sometimes. My daughter called it "overthinking" or shall we say "imagination run wild"?

OMG i tend to overthink very often. When my mom or dad has gone out for a very long time I do get worried and start to think about all kinds of things,

Yes, when I don't hear from my husband in a while I always worry something really bad happened to him. It puts me in tears at times, awful.

Sometimes it can work against you but try to replace the angst with something positive.

@Hatley I know its not easy. When I am out here on my own I can get to imagine all kinds of things if I let myself go. Take care now.

Not in that particular way, I do have quite a vivid imagination but I use it more for pleasant daydreams.
