What Happened To The Trash Collectors?

Usually either in the middle of the night or the wee hours of the morning the trash is picked up accompanied by lots of noise. I don't know why the men insist on making so much noise banging the pails unless they figure if they're up so everyone else should be too. I know this doesn't just happen in my neighborhood.
I went outside before to bring the pail in from the curb and it's still full. What? I know the recycling truck was here because that pail is empty but the regular pail still has trash in it.
This is a bit unusual and here it is already heading into the afternoon.
I certainly hope we weren't forgotten.

Our trash company comes at different times. Sometimes it's early morning but yesterday it was around 4pm! It was weird.

The rubbish gets emptied at the school near us every Wednesday morning at about 5:15am. Guess which is the only day I don't have to be up at 5:15am but get woken up anyway by rubbish collectors empying the bins at the nearby school? Aaaaaarrrgggh!!!!

The trash here has been picking up late afternoon at 5-6pm normally before noon but they've been late usually.
Recycling used to be afternoon 2pm now it's super early 8-9am

Maybe they switched our pick-up to a new summer schedule? Guess we'll see next week what time they come

Oh dear I hope they have not rescheduled the pick up.
I remember when in my house I would dread that as the trash can would be full but sometimes they would come the next day.

I hated the thought that we might not get a pick-up as I had some pretty stinky trash and didn't want to have to bring it back in the garage. Thankfully they did come but it was late

We only get a pick-up once a week and I wish it was twice. We weren't forgotten but it was late when they finally made the pick-up

Yes they finally came but it was nearly dinner time when they picked it all up. You may be right that they were way behind schedule

We've never been skipped and I think the whole block would have been upset if they didn't show up. Thankfully they did but it was late

If you were forgotten, good luck at getting them to return. It's happened to our street in Florida a couple of times and no luck getting them to fix it. Good thing trash is picked up twice a week there.

they didn't forget us thankfully. I guess I would have had to bring that stinky garbage and put it back in the garage until next week since we only get a pick-up once a week.

I'm sorry your trash never got picked up! That's frustrating! We had that happen to us all the time! We paid for our cans to be cleaned and they'd take them but never bring them back! It was so annoying!
Now we found a dump close to our house so my husband takes the trash and drops it off. We save money & don't have to deal with the guys not caring.
