Charges were dropped in the fire in Tennessee from back in November 2016. This fire killed 14 people and burned thousands of businesses and homes. It started in the remote area of Chimney Top in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It blew several miles into Gatlinburg. After the months of investigating the fire authorities cannot prove that the two juveniles were responsible.

Well, the two kids did start a fire - and there is video from a witness showing that ..... But they can't prove that the fire they started is what caused the big fire. That's why the charges were dropped, but there are going to be civil suits against those two families up the wing-wang I'm sure. This has been on our news/tv people are up in arms

@bunnybon7 They said it would be hard to prove w/o a shadow of a doubt that the fire they started turned into the big fire

I remember hearing about that. Sometimes it's impossible to prove things like that.

Thats sad.. if they did do it. If not, glad they weren't found guilty and spending the rest of their lives behind bars.

They should have had good security personnel or the CCTV cameras atleast in the areas, so they could find out the criminals and make it less crime happenings.

I don't think this was in an area where there would be cameras. There was a video.

I hope they really did not set those fires. It is good they were not guilty if they did not set the fires.
