Some Common Myths About Death

MYTH #1: Death is the NATURAL end of life. Here’s what the Bible says: Use any translation you want to use. Or read the Bible in your own language at JW.org Genesis1:28 says: “Further, God blessed them and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and become many, FILL THE EARTH and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the Earth.” How long do you think it would take Adam and Eve to fulfill this commission? The earth is not full, even today. There are many areas that are sparsely populated. They would have to live forever to accomplish this command. Genesis 2:17 says: “But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.” If Adam and Eve would have obeyed that command, they would still be living today. It was NOT God’s purpose that they should ever die. So what happened? Romans 5:12 explains: “That is why, just as through one man, sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” Adam and Eve sinned, by disobeying God and eating the fruit from the tree. All of their offspring inherited that sin from them. And so death spread to all humans. That is why we die. But, God’s command to “fill the earth” has not changed. Adam and Eve did indeed die. They began dying that very day that they had sinned. And that is why all humans grow old and die. But what does God promise to do? Read Acts 24:15 in your own Bible. It gives the answer about what God has promised to do for those who have died. And watch for my next post, with the answer to this question: “Does God TAKE people in death to be with HIM?”
What happens when we die? Can the dead live again? Ecclesiastes 9:5, Acts 24:15, and other Bible verses are very enlightening on the subject of death.

Explain your question. I'm not sure what your point is exactly.

@IreneVincent You claim that there's no limit to man's life; but that passage is "God Himself, saying that there is-so a limit!'

@IreneVincent 'tie that blindfold on tighter!' Do go ahead & share those 50 scriptures that prove Jesus isn't God. I can think of one (maybe I mentioned it above): "If I speak of myself, I'm lying." And I don't think you can convince me that John 3:16 was "about Him."
